mad as hell
Things are starting to boil over in Canada. Here's a picture from a rally today on Parliament Hill:
I appreciate the need to express outrage at the Liberals for their trashing of traditions that have served us well, for their political ends, but I've never been a fan of the whole effigy thing (unless, I guess, it vents people enough not to do the real thing).
I don't think effigies are particularly productive either. They are kinda scary actually - are these people seriously saying they would kill McGinty, Martin, and Gagliano if they had a chance? Do they even realize that what they are implying?
